Royal-Tea-by-the-Sea

Carolanne Reynolds passed away in late July – and it was a shock to all who knew her and her contribution to the West Van community over the decades. She had a tradition of hosting a fun-“Tea” at Dundarave in honour of Canada’s monarch – and her husband, George Pajari passed along this invitation to continue where she would have.

MANY residents did – including the mayor, Mary Ann Booth – seen here (far right) judging a competition of Hats – and ‘Fascinators’ – being introduced by George Pajari (centre)

As many of you know, Carolanne was passionate about heritage in general, and the Monarchy in particular. One of the annual events she was proudest of was her RoyalTea-by-the-Sea, first held in 2002 to celebrate the Queen Mother’s 100th birthday.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held at 2pm, September 9th at St. Stephen’s in West Vancouver. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
